It’s Train Saturday at Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville. Once a month, the Cape Fear Railroaders hold an open house on the top floor of the museum, allowing kids a peak at their intricate system of trains. It’s free and open to public this Saturday. If kids want to stay and play at the museum, they’ll need to pay a small admission fee.
Also on Saturday, Fort Bragg holds its annual Renaissance Faire. It’s an Elizabethan festival featuring period inspired food, games such as jousting, archery contests and more. Located at Smith Recreation Center. It's 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p..m, Sunday.
Did you know that the Cumberland County Library holds a variety of story times for preschoolers of all ages and interests? We’re talking princess story time, pirate story time, plus general books that appeal to both genders. Many offerings are available at several branches located throughout the county.
