RALEIGH, N.C. — Father and Son, an antique store known for its sprawling collection of everything from vintage clothing to furniture, has found a new home in downtown Raleigh.

The iconic shop on West Hargett Street attracts people from around the world. Travel guides refer to it as a must visit for the City of Oaks.

Kiymo Ownbey, the store owner, announced nearly a year ago that the store was being forced to find a new home after the building's owner decided to sell the property.

"It makes me sad to think that everything old, or unique, has to be sort of pushed out due to rising costs," Ownbey told WRAL News at the time.

On Monday, owners announced that they found a new space in downtown Raleigh. While they didn't elaborate on the new address, they did say that they would remain on Hargett Street through the end of the year.
