Fatal Beltline wreck ruled a suicide
A 52-year-old woman, whose name wasn't released, died Tuesday afternoon when her car overturned on the ramp leading from the outer loop of the Beltline to westbound Wade Avenue, police said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — A wreck on an Interstate 440 Beltline exit ramp Tuesday afternoon was a suicide, police said Wednesday.
A 52-year-old woman, whose name wasn't released, died when her car overturned on the ramp leading from the outer loop of the Beltline to westbound Wade Avenue, police said.
An investigation determined the woman killed herself, police said.
The ramp was blocked for about an hour as police investigated the wreck, and traffic flow was limited through much of the afternoon rush hour.
