Family From Delaware Crashes on I-95
Seven family members were transported to Southeastern Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries Sunday after their van crashed on Interstate 95 near mile marker 33.
Posted — UpdatedROBESON COUNTY — Seven family members were transported to Southeastern Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries Sunday after their van crashed on Interstate 95 near mile marker 33.
Just before 1 p.m., a vehicle traveling northbound on I-95 swerved into the lane of the van, which was also traveling northbound, officials said. The van ran off the road to avoid a collision, overturned and flipped several times, according to highway patrol.
Officials said the seven people in the van are from Delaware and are all related. The driver is the mother of two of the passengers. The passengers range in age from 8 to 15 years old.
