Family-friendly movies coming to netflix in september 2017

Unfortunately, the end of summer is almost here. It’s time to put away your bathing suits and break out the cozy sweaters. While you may be sad that beach season is on its way out, we have some news that might cheer you up.
Netflix has a slew of new titles coming to the streaming service in September-just in time for fall, the perfect season to curl up on the couch for a family movie night. Among the offerings are a few Disney movies. Watch them while you can because the company may eventually pull all of their titles from Netflix.
Check out this list of Disney favorites, plus a few other family-friendly films debuting on Netflix next month.
1. Hercules (9/1/17)
This hero’s tale from 1997 is sure to please kids and adults alike. Bonus: You can use it as a starting point to give your kids a lesson in Greek mythology.
2. Mulan (9/1/17)
Another ’90s-era Disney classic, “Mulan” tells the story of a young Chinese heroine. Stars including Eddie Murphy, Donny Osmond and George Takei lend their voices to the film’s characters.
3. Pocahontas (9/14/17)
Later in the month, you can catch Disney’s “Pocahontas,” featuring the voices of actors Christian Bale and Mel Gibson. “Colors of the Wind,” a song from the film, won an Oscar for “Best Original Song” in 1995.
4. Beauty and the Beast (9/19/17)
This beloved Disney film recently got new life in the form of a live-action reboot. Catch the original animated classic and prepare to fall in love all over again.
5. Hotel for Dogs (9/1/17)
Hijinks ensue when a brother-and-sister duo decide to shelter stray dogs in a vacant hotel. The film stars a young Emma Roberts, Don Cheadle and Lisa Kudrow.
6. The Rugrats Movie (9/1/17)
The popular Nickelodeon animated series was the basis for this feature-length film from 1998. The rugrats go on an adventure when they try to return Tommy’s new baby brother to the hospital where he was born.
