Our state is so soft on sex offenders and child molesters that they just keep on hurting children. Remember that YOUR tax dollars pay a convicted, felon admitted child molesting physician 188,000$ yearly and he is a state employee doctor. Dr Robert C Owens is a molester ( the story broke July 07 in all local media outlets) yet amazingly due to his money and connections he is employed by the state of NC , formerly at Cherry hospital in Goldsboro, now at the prison in Maury. Of course child molesters have no fear of going after children in a state that will employ a molester. Please , please write and call your legislators and tell them we dont want our tax dollars paying child molesters. Dr Owens is not on the sex offender registry beacuse his conviction was before that law was passed, but the story is on witntv.com, newsobserver.com, wral.com etc. Please tell Gov Perdue to get molesters out of state government
