Evidence of meth lab found inside Clayton home

Clayton, N.C. — One person was in custody Thursday night after evidence of a meth lab was found inside a Clayton home.
Authorities said that officers with the Clayton Police Department responded to a report of suspected drug activity at 264 Johnson Drive Thursday afternoon and found evidence of a meth lab inside the one-story home.
The home was secure Thursday night and an unidentified person was in custody.
Authorities said an investigation is ongoing and charges are expected.
