Monday

Screening: Won't You Be My Neighbor? (Alamo Drafthouse, 2116 New Bern Ave. in Raleigh) - Showings of this touching documentary about kindness advocate Mister Rogers continue at Alamo this week.

Tuesday

Summer Nights Dinner Series (Sitti, 37 S. Wilmington Street in Raleigh) - Enjoy a five-course meal with locally curated ingredients, each matched with a summer cocktail. Price is $75 per person.

Taco Tuesday (Durham Bulls Stadium, 409 Blackwell Street) - Get $2 tacos during Tuesday night's game. Come for the baseball, stay for the tacos!
Paul Taylor Dance Company (DPAC, 123 Vivian Street in Durham) - The Paul Taylor Dance Company, established in 1954, is one of the world's most highly respected and sought-after ensembles. At this show, the company will present the timeless, romantic masterpiece Roses and a newly commissioned work by another choreographer for the company.
Novel Sounds: Book Launch Party (The Durham Hotel, 315 E Chapel Hill Street) - Celebrate the release of "Novel Sounds: Southern Fiction in the Age of Rock and Roll" on the roof with cocktails and snacks from the bar and musical performances.

Wednesday

Thursday

Rebelution (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell Street in Raleigh) - Rebelution with special guests Stephen Marley, Common Kings, and DJ Mackle will play Red Hat Amphitheater on Friday evening.
Pirates of the Caribbean Night (N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences, 121 W. Jones Street in Raleigh) - Prior to the movie, enjoy live music from Loos Doubloons, learn to fight like a pirate and check out movie-themed science stations. Admission is $7.
