— Authorities on Friday apprehended one of two juveniles who ran away from C.A. Dillon Youth Development Center staff on Wednesday night.

Officials say the boys, identified only as London C. and Tre B., ran away during a supervised social outing in Durham.

London C. was taken into custody on Friday, officials said.

Tre B., who is from Wayne County, remains at large.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact local law enforcement.

It is my understanding they are given levels depending on their adherance to the rules. Social outings are rewards. I know a juvenile who went in with 20/20 vision and due to lack of supervision, he now wears glasses with 20/70 vision.

Maybe they'll stop taking these prisoners on picnics now.

Doesn't sound that supervised to me, but who am I to say.

OK, number one, why were they on a social outing, are they not at CA Dillon as punishment? Number two, they were not very well supervised now were they?

Since they can't behave at their "prison" put them in admin. seg. for a week at CP. Being in a single cell setting, they will be save from the really bad guys but it should provide a very real warning on what will happen should they not mend their ways.
