Erykah Badu, Beach House to play Hopscotch

The lineup for this year's Hopscotch Music Festival.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Erykah Badu and Beach House will perform during this fall's Hopscotch Music Festival in downtown Raleigh.

Badu will be joined by Gary Clark Jr. at Red Hat Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 9. It's the first time the amphitheater has been a venue during the festival.

This year's City Plaza headliners will be Wolf Parade and Wye Oak on Thursday, Sept. 8, and Beach House, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals and The Dead Tongues on Friday, Sept. 9. On Saturday, Sept. 10, Sylvan Esso, Vince Staples and Tuskha will perform at the venue.

There will be 10 other venues hosting shows from the likes of Young Thug, Andrew Bird, Television, Converge, Big Freedia, Kelela, William Basinski, Baroness, Demdike Stare, Mr. Carmack, Twin Peaks, Beach Slang, Julien Baker, Lavender Country, Tribulation and YOB.

VIP and 3-day passes go on sale Thursday, May 12, through the Hopscotch website. The passes will allow entry into all club shows, City Plaza and Red Hat Amphitheater shows. VIP passes grant priority access to all the shows, along with entrance to the exclusive opening night party.

Single day passes and tickets for just City Plaza and Red Hat Amphitheater shows will go on sale this summer.

Hopscotch Music Festival is Sept. 8-10.
