'Idol' Scotty to join Mickey Mouse for parade
Newly crowned "American Idol" Scotty McCreery will be honored in a gala motorcade at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla., on Monday.
Posted — UpdatedORLANDO, FLA. — Newly crowned "American Idol" Scotty McCreery will be honored in a gala motorcade at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla., on Monday.
McCreery, 17, of Garner, will join Mickey Mouse in a parade down Hollywood Boulevard. A sports car will carry the duo from the park's entrance to "The American Idol Experience" attraction where they'll take the stage together.
McCreery will talk about his experience on the hit FOX television show and pose for photos with Mickey and Minnie.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
