'Leave it to Beaver' star honored in Apex

'The Beav' visits WRAL

Apex, N.C. — “Leave it to Beaver” star Jerry Mathers received the first Gaddy award for Continuing Lifetime Achievement in the Visual Arts on Friday.

Mathers received the award during the opening festivities of the Peak City International Film Festival in Apex.

The award is named for former WRAL news anchor Charlie Gaddy.
