Two 18-year-old women with ties to the Triangle have made it to the top 20 finalists on the Fox show "So You Think You Can Dance."

Contemporary dancers Ariana Debose, of Wake Forest, and Noelle Marsh, of Sanford, were among the finalists selected by judges in the Wednesday show.

Debose and Marsh have both trained at C.C. & Dance Complex in Raleigh.

Debose, who lists New Bern as her hometown, is a graduate of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. Her long-term plans include studying musical theater in college, according to the show's Web site.

Marsh, who recently graduated from Lee County High School, teaches contemporary dance in Sanford. She describes herself as "a small-town girl who grew up on a farm" on the show's Web site.

"So You Think You Can Dance" continues with episodes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. The show airs on WRAZ Fox 50.
