Raleigh, N.C. — Like a lot of hopeful bridegrooms, Raleigh's John Bishop used Train's song "Marry Me" to propose to his girlfriend. When the couple learned that the band would make a tour stop in Raleigh, they took it one step further.
On Friday night, after a rain delay, John and Kelly Bishop married on stage at the Raleigh Amphitheater with his daughter serving as maid of honor.
The couple made the connection with Train's tour manager, who happens to make his home in Raleigh. Drummer Scott Underwood, an ordained minister, has performed the same service for couples at tour stops across the country.
