Andy, you will be greatly missed. Thank you for your many contributions to the world and helping people to be happy watching your shows. I know you're in Heaven and singing in the choir there. Someday, I shall meet you in person in Eternity. God bless and keep you. Gail McMahon

Andy: One of a kind. Will always love and miss you, but will watch you and Mayberry until the day I die, and will smile.

I grew up watching the Andy Griffith show,I'm 69 and I still watch it in fact we have recored most of all the shows,My husband and I have been to Myberry Days for the past two year and we are going again this year,I have never been to a town as friendly as Mayberry, you are treated like family. I love Mayberry days it's a great place to go to visit.Andy we are going to miss you,Thank you for such a great show all these year. tweety

I'm a 27 year old, only child and daughter. I have NEVER cried over an actor before-today I CRIED like a baby. My dad(and mom) are Andy's biggest fans. No really-they are! We owned all 249 episodes (recorded off of WRAL no less)and every character was a member of our little family. Opie might as well have been my brother. From haunted houses, bullies, winning and losing, crazy hill billy Darlings and last but not least...family. I'm pretty sure there isn't a day that goes by that we don't quote something from the show that has to do with our daily life. "Boy Giraffes are selfish" I have no idea what that applies to but we say it anyway-all the time. I do not have 1 favortie episode-but I have narrowed it down to 3. Season 1-#11-Christmas Story, season 3 episode #1-Mr.Mcbeevee and season 4 episode#2-The Haunted House. There you go, I sure hope to see those played on at least one of the many marathons going on this weekend. Love and miss you Andy.

I am very sad abouth the death of Andy Griffith, I loved watching him over the years growing up. I visited Mt. Airy in 1994 & 2008, I knew of his best friend Emit. Give Andy's family my sympathey & the town of Mt. Airy. He will live in my heart thru all of the the being re-run on TV Land. Also thank you for his statue in front of the Andy Griffth playhouse. He was loved by many.

Audrey from Pa.
