Carrie Fisher (52 today) is a real star, especially among people of my age group who are inclined toward a male persuasion. That is, there is a world of 20- to 30-year-old men out there who were once shaken to their prepubesecent cores to discover that Princess Leia, despite being a girl, was not an icky, smelly stupidhead. Of course, Fisher's done a million other things, like "Soapdish," "When Harry Met Sally" and "Postcards From the Edge." Leia may have been stronger-willed than most sci-fi damsels, but she still got captured all the time -- who didn't capture her in the films?
