Birthday Quiz: A Tuneful Celebration

Today's birthday gathering will have perfect pitch.

I always felt that Jimmy Carter (82 today) got a raw deal. Sure, the late '70s weren't great, what with the disco, the feathered hair, the Osmonds -- but you can't blame it all on Jimbo. From what I've heard, he had little direct influence on either the Captain or Tennille, and seldom came to stay at the YMCA. Of course, I was 4 when the '70s ended (I am so young! I am so young!), and I get most of my impressions of the time from TV Land, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Mainly, I just wanted to say that Jimmy seems like a very nice fellow. How's that for biting political commentary, eh? Bill Maher, watch out! What's Carter's charity of choice?
