Billy Bob Thornton (52 today) is awesome, and I'm not just saying that because I just drank a whole lot of coffee. I can't think of anyone else in movie history, with the possible exception of Peter Lorre, who has played such sad, poignant, odd characters as has Thornton in the minor masterpieces "Sling Blade" and "A Simple Plan."
