I feel like I saw this about another famous woman every day, but Ashley Judd (39 today) isn't too hard on the eyes. But so far, her films have left something to be desired. "Double Jeopardy" has the premise that if you can't be tried twice for the same crime, you could get wrongfully jailed for killing your husband and then actually go and kill him for real with no fear of consequence. Of course, any lawyer worth his weight in crap will tell you that that's a load of crap. But it's a carefully plotted masterwork compared to her other films: "Kiss the Girls," "Simon Birch," and "A Time to Kill." Euch. Which one of these Judds is her mother?
