What is Jose and Sons exactly? Ultimately, this restaurant is a celebration of our Mexican-Southern upbringing expressed through fine food and drink. You see, being raised in the South and getting to visit Mexico for months at a time as a kid has played an important part in our lives. We’ve gotten to live in two worlds that often illustrate shared values of community and culture. Gather around a fire and hear ranchero (country) music? Roast a pig, bring out some music and dance ‘til the wee hours? Yep, we’ve done that on both sides of the border to our heart and belly’s content.

Which altogether makes the premise behind this restaurant an exciting yet simple one; serve comfort food that celebrates our forefathers’s Mexican roots and the culinary traditions of the local neighborhood.

The older we’ve gotten the more we’ve realized there’s so much that we enjoy from knowing two rich, vibrant cultures. We’ve had the luxury of experiencing two distinct ways of living that can reach laughable parallels. Now, many of these parallels serve as our strongest inspirations for this restaurant.

And we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all.

Great restaurant for date night and a group. Their drinks are made fresh, the food is outstanding, and the service is personable. I recommend trying the different types of guacamole. My husband and I love the kind with goat cheese. The ambience is definitely very cool, as well. Easy parking!
