We offer high-quality meats slow smoked over aged hickory wood. Smoked on-site at each joint. Pulled fresh from the smokers throughout the day. Sandwiches are trimmed to order in front of you, and won’t leave you hungry with a half pound!

Come casual and experience quick and genuine service.

Why did City Barbeque choose to open a location in Cary, North Carolina?

We wanted to be part of the deeply-rooted barbeque tradition and culture in North Carolina by bringing our great barbeque to great barbeque country. Right in the heart of the Triangle, Cary is a great community full of even better people—plus, some folks already know us here!

How is City Barbeque working to support the community?

We are proud to partner with the Dorcas Food Pantry in Cary, where we will be donating food left over at the end of the day to feed folks in need in the community. We will also host fundraiser nights so we can maximize our ability to support charitable efforts in the Wake County area. At these fundraiser nights, we will support various local charities by hosting an evening dinner during which 25 percent of proceeds will be donated. We also support specific local events and causes, such as the Wake Education Partnership. In addition, we proudly offer a scholarship program for City Barbeque team members and their families to further support their personal and professional growth.

Food was good, but place was crowded. This is a self-serve place with no real take out service, althougth they advertise that they have take out. Originally we called for take out but were told it would take 45 minute and that it was better to come on and it would take 5 minutes. THIS MAKES NO SENSE!
