Opening day: Saturday, April 5. Wednesday market begins April 9 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Touted as one of the finest local markets in the country, the Carrboro Farmers' Market has provided an opportunity for local farmers to sell their products directly to the consumer since 1979.

Run by the farmer members, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Farmers' Markets, Inc. oversees the operation of the market. Members farms are visited periodically to assure that all items sold are locally grown by the seller and are of the highest quality.

We take great pride in selling at and operating the Carrboro Farmers' Market. We hope that you enjoy the market!

Not a good place to eat unless you want pastries but there is a lot of fresh and unique produce! The bread here is spectacular!

The Carrboro Farmer's Market is the best market in the triangle if you want organic produce.

this is my favorite farmer's market...usually each seller has only one item which they sell...they also have folks selling fresh eggs and heritage pork...be warned...parking is at a premium....and it is much smaller than raleighwood's farmers market...i go there every saturday and then stop at cliff's meat market for piedmontese ground chuck...all you yuppies will not like cliff's....
