Like the neighborhood cafes and intimate restaurants that are so much a part of the Tuscan Countryside in Northern Italy, Girasole Trattoria is a neighborhood restaurant where friends and family can meet and relax over a delicious meal and linger over a glass of fine wine. We emphasize foods of the earth, natural and healthy, prepared in the tradition of simple Italian cooking. We strive to use local ingredients whenever we can, assuring absolute freshness. We selected herbs right from our own Girasole Garden. Our pizzas are rustic, oval in shape and fresh baked in our wood-fired oven.

We are proud to be a part of the Wake Forest community and look forward to seeing old acquaintances and making new friends. Please, like countrymen who grow the grapes on the gently rolling hills of Tuscany, spread the word when you find a good thing.
