Atlanta — "American Idol" Scotty McCreery combined his love for baseball and singing this Memorial Day weekend.

The Garner native and country music star headlined a post-game concert at Atlanta’s Turner Field.
McCreery’s fans got a treat when he took the stage after the Nationals-Braves game Saturday evening. He belted out tunes from his debut CD, including his hit single "This Big."
Thousands of fans stuck around after the game for the concert. Others got special passes to be on the field right in front of the stage.
