In conjunction with the Heroes Homecoming V events taking place throughout Cumberland County, the North Carolina Veterans Park (NCVP) is featuring a special exhibit entitled Fayetteville/Cumberland in the Vietnam War. This exhibit is a tribute to local veterans who served during the Vietnam Conflict. The exhibit features profiles of local Vietnam veterans, supplemented with a display of weapons, uniforms, military gear, and items brought home by service men and women. This special display is augmented by the permanent history panels in the NCVP Visitors Center which highlight North Carolina's role in the conflict. Exhibit is appropriate for ages 10+.
