We invite you to join us for a magical black-tie evening under twinkling lights in the heart of downtown Raleigh, where City Plaza will be transformed with sparkling chandeliers seeming to hang from the sky under a translucent canopy. At beautifully adorned tables running along Fayetteville Street, arts lovers of our community will come together to enjoy a meal envisioned by James Beard Award-winner Vivian Howard—co-owner of Kinston, North Carolina’s much-raved-about Chef and the Farmer restaurant, star of PBS’s A Chef’s Life, and author of the new book Deep Run Roots.

Don't miss this opportunity to experience Chef Howard's famous Southern cuisine in the heart of the Triangle! Guests will enjoy cocktails and a delicious dinner in her tradition of local, farm-to-table ingredients. Musical vignettes will delight guests at key moments throughout the evening. The Gala supports the North Carolina Symphony in our mission to bring inspiring classical music performances and invaluable music education to the entire state of North Carolina.
