Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Craig Friend will explore some supernatural encounters and speculate on what they tell us about the era and its inhabitants.
Join us on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 2:00 pm, in the Visitors Center of the Joel Lane Museum House at 160 South Saint Mary's Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited, and advanced payment is required.

Craig Thompson Friend is Professor of History and Director of the Public History Program at North Carolina State University. He co-edited the book Death and the American South, and researches and writes about masculinity, the family, and Southern death culture. He is currently writing a biography of Lunsford Lane.
