Follow the story of the boy who wouldn't grow up in Durham Ballet Theatre's adaptation of J.M. Barrie's classic fairy tale, Peter Pan. The world of Neverland is brought to life in this spectacular ballet. We begin in London, 1904, in the home of the Darling family. A typical evening becomes a fantastic journey for Wendy, John and Michael as they meet an impish Shadow, Mischievous Peter Pan and a seriously sassy Tinkerbell. They are transported to a magical land of flowery fairies, boisterous Lost Boys, mesmerizing mermaids, pillaging pirates like Captain Hook, and of course, the always-famished Crocodile. This performance is wonderful for children and adults alike who believe in fairies and that growing up is "an awfully big adventure".
