"Crossroads" explores the life and legacy of Palmer Memorial Institute's second president, Wilhelmina Marguerita Crosson. Ms. Crosson was a pioneer in the field of remedial reading and a life-long advocate for the inclusion of African American history and literature in the curriculum. The exhibit includes documents and images from our collection and a children's area ("Ms. Crosson's Bookshelf") featuring hands-on activities and excerpts from Ms. Crosson's favorite books. Exhibit open through March 31, 2017. Closed on state holidays. Free admission!
