Wide Open Bluegrass has a ticketed Main Stage at Red Hat Amphitheater, with part of the proceeds benefiting the Bluegrass Trust Fund, and a FREE StreetFest with music in downtown Raleigh on five stages and a dance tent, free activities, stages, and a music expo inside the Raleigh Convention Center, and much more! The North Carolina Whole Hog Barbecue Championship will once again add a distinctly NC flavor to this event. Plus, there will be plenty of other mouth-watering food and drinks to keep you going as long as the music is playing. While you're at the festival, make sure to check out the juried artists in Artsplosure's Arts Market area, the Got to Be NC products, the best jamming imaginable, Sir Walter's Banjostand, and more!

StreetFest will happen Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 from noon until 11 p.m. Admission is free.

Red Hat Amphitheater shows require tickets. Performers include Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Del McCoury Band, Steep Canyon Rangers and Jerry Douglas presents the Earls of Leicester.
