If there's one thing owner/chef Brian Battistella wants you to know about his latest concept coming to City Market is that it's NOT CAJUN.
Six years after Hurricane Katrina displaced him and his family from Louisiana, Brian is bringing his classic New Orleans and upscale Southern cuisine to Downtown Raleigh. Fresh, regionally sourced ingredients will be the staple of both Brian's dinner menu and the extensive list of handcrafted cocktails.
Battistella joins Chuck's, Beasley's Chicken & Honey, Fox Liquor Bar and Calavera as one of five new establishments opening downtown within a two block radius in the next month.
With that kind of growth rate in one the of the worst economic climates in history it's clear that we have something pretty exciting on our hands.
