Scotty McCreery to throw out first pitch tonight at the DBAP

Garner native and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery will be on hand tonight for the Triple-A National Championship game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

McCreery will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch.

The game pits the Pacific Coast League and the International League against each other. 

Tickets, which start at $7, are on still available on the Durham Bulls website.
