Garner native and "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery will perform Sept. 18 during the Triple-A National Championship game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

McCreery will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch.

The game will pit the champions of the Pacific Coast League and the International League against each other.

Tickets, which start at $7, are on sale now through the <strong>Durham Bulls website.</strong>
