Food trucks, wrestling and fire dancing?

Posted August 22, 2012

Food trucks, wrestling and fire dancing. Sounds like a fun Saturday night at Rebus Works in downtown Raleigh.

This unique Food Truck Rodeo features "grappling entertainment" from GOUGE Pro Wrestling, followed by a circus performance thanks to Cirque de Vol. Add in local vendors and brewers, and you have a very interesting and intriguing event.

Not only will famous food trucks, Chirba Chirba, Klausie's Pizza, Bulkogi, Captain Poncho's Tacos, Sympathy for the Deli, Triangle Raw Foods and Porchetta will be there, along with plenty of beer: Mother Earth's Second Wind and Summer Haze, Big Boss' Angry Angel, Lonerider's Sweet Josie, Sir Perry's pear cider, and of course, PBR. House of Swank will also be selling merchandise, including tee-shirts, and providing live music.

Even if wrestling isn't your thing, you can still enjoy some good food and a show. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Saturday Market at Rebus Works, a local food and craft market, and Cirque de Vol's Creative Movement and Circus Arts Performance.

The fun kicks off at 5 p.m.
