Pete Geiger, of Cary, is known for creating license plate guitar art. Now, one of his designs will be used by Rascal Flatts.
Geiger won a contest to design a special guitar to commemorate the country band's 2012 tour. When Rascal Flatts play Raleigh this Friday, Geiger will get to meet the band and get an autographed version of the guitar.
If Geiger sounds familiar, it might be because our own Tar Heel Traveler did a story about him last year.
In the past, Geiger designed a guitar for country star Brad Paisley, who gave him his personal license plates to use in the artwork.
