Bobby Blue Bland and Marcia Ball highlight the lineup for the 25th Anniversary Bull Durham Blues Festival Sept. 7-8 at the Durham Athletic Park.
The full lineup for Sept. 7 includes Ball, Lucky Peterson, Wild Magnolias, Risse Band and Justin Johnson. On Sept. 8, Bland will take the stage in addition to Otis Clay, Stanley Baird and Triangle Blues Society winners E. Train and the Rusted Rails and Bullfrog Williard McGhee.
Advance tickets are on sale now for $35. Tickets go up to $45 on the days of the event. You can get tickets online through Etix.com or by phone at 919-683-1709 extension 21. You can get even get tickets in person at the Hayti Heritage Center.
The gates open at 5 p.m. with shows running 6 p.m. to midnight each night.
Note: Lawn chairs will not be allowed on the field, so you might want to bring a blanket. Seating will also be available in the grandstand. No coolers or pets will be admitted.
