The Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks concert scheduled for tonight at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex has been canceled, concert promoter Live Nation has announced.

Stewart came down with a sudden illness and canceled the show on the advice of his doctor, according to Live Nation.

Ticket refunds can be obtained at the original point of purchase starting Friday. Tickets bought over the phone or online will be automatically refunded.

The tour will resume Friday in Orlando.

This isn't the first time this year Stewart has had to cancel an appearance due to sudden illness. In April, he came down with the flu and had to bow out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony where he was scheduled to reunite with the Faces.
