This Saturday head out to Cary for an evening of pig pickin' and soccer.
Before the Carolina RailHawks battle it out with the defending league champions, check out the Inaugural Pregame Pig Pickin' Festival, where local chefs from Backyard Bistro and the Hibernian will compete against fans for the RailHawks Masterchef Crown.
Attendees can sample barbecue and vote for their favorites while enjoying beer and live music, and the first 500 fans will receive a free koozie. Pitmaster Ed Mitchell will be judging the contest and answering grilling questions.
Tickets are $10 each and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Food Effect. The festival starts at 4:45 p.m. and the game begins at 7 p.m.
