Festival for the Eno kicks off Wednesday
The Festival for the Eno starts on July 4, then continues this weekend.
Posted — UpdatedThis year's festival will feature more than 90 performers on four stages including: The Gibson Brothers, Craver, Watson, Hicks & Newberry, Gospel Jubilators, Birds and Arrows, Kickin Grass, Jon Shain Trio, Ellis, Orquesta GarDel, Paper Hand Puppet Intervention, Jamie Anderson & the Broad St Band , the Black Experience , Nikki Meets the Hibachi, Big Medicine, Robin & Linda Williams & their Fine Group, Lightnin' Wells, TROSA Musical Ensemble, and many others.
Aside from live music, attendees can enjoy various traditional and international food vendors, a sustainable home and garden expo, 95 regional crafts, children's activities, including storytellers and rain barrel painting.
The Eno River Association raises money to buy land for parks, protect drinking water and provide habitat for creatures of all kinds and is committed to the preservation of the nature, culture, and history of the Eno River basin.
