The 8th annual WeeseFest, the ultimate birthday celebration for Big Boss bartender Walter Benton Weese, returns to the bar this Saturday.
The party, which runs from 3-10 p.m., will feature Jack the Radio, DOCO, Gray Young, Chip Robinson, Martha Anne Motel, The DeBonzo Brothers, Goodbye, Titan, James Olin Odin, Matt Dewar and magician Michael Casey.

Valentino's and American Meltdown food trucks will also be on hand.

There will be a $10 cover at the door. Proceeds go to the Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter of the American ALS Society.

The party for the Raleigh native returns to Big Boss, where it was held the first two years. The celebration moved in 2007 to the Pour House, where Weese has been a doorman.

Every year, Weese selects the lineup. In previous years, the music festival has even extended an entire weekend.

The event doesn't fall exactly on his birthday this year. He officially turns 33 on July 3.

Happy birthday, Weese!
