N.C. Museum of Art gets still-life exclusive

A touring exhibition of more than 70 still-life paintings representing multiple masters will make its only U.S. stop at the North Carolina Museum of Art this fall.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A touring exhibition of more than 70 still-life paintings representing multiple masters will make its only U.S. stop at the North Carolina Museum of Art this fall.

The show, which opens Oct. 21, will include works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse and Georgia O’Keeffe.

"Visual Feast: Masterpieces of Still Life from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston" runs through Jan. 13, 2013, and tickets go on sale Sept. 20.
