We're kicking off our unofficial summer of gastric challenges (more on that to come) with our first official WRAL Out & About Tweet Up & Eat Up Meet Up Event!

Come out and join your friends from WRAL Out & About at Ruckus Pizza, Pasta, and Spirits off of Tryon Road in Cary, on Tuesday, June 12, at 6 p.m.

We'll be taking over the patio for a few hours and watching as five of our pizza-loving pals take on the Ruckus Pizza Challenge - 24 inches of pizza topped with two meats and two veggies, all consumed within an hour. Think they can do it and earn their way to a $100 Ruckus gift certificate and lifetime bragging rights? Come join us for dinner and drinks to find out... and to cheer the participants on, of course! 

Mike Maniscalco from 620 The Buzz, 99.9 TheFan's Joe Ovies and WRAL.com's Derek Medlin are competing, alongside others.
