Sedaris, Travis announce DPAC shows

Best-selling author and humorist David Sedaris and country singer Randy Travis have announced shows at the Durham Performing Arts Center this fall. 

On Oct. 26, Sedaris will share his humorous recollections of growing up in North Carolina and feature new readings from his most popular works.

Travis will take the stage on Oct. 28. He is on tour celebrating his 25-year career. 

Tickets for both shows on sale Friday, June 15. Sedaris' tickets, which range from $40 to $55, go on sale at 10 a.m., with Travis' tickets on sale at noon. You can get tickets through the DPAC ticket center or Ticketmaster.

    dwntwnboy is delusional...a ticket is worth every penny if you love and appreciate the humor...WELL worth it. True fans have every book anyway.. :)

    David (and Amy's) dad Lou goes to my gym. He's a great guy, nicest old man you'll ever meet. He's 89 years old and still hits the gym everyday!

    Sedaris is a GREAT writer...but save the money and buy the books instead- you can buy just about everything he's done for the price of a ticket.
