Do you remember the age of disco? The polyester suits and platform shoes?
Well, get ready to boogie down with WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel this Friday as he takes you back to the 1970s for a fundraiser at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.
The event, billed as a Night at the Museum Disco-TECH! Boot up and Boogie Down, will feature food, drinks, entertainment and disco dancing. You can even use available iPads or your own mobile phone to order drinks, upload photos or text or tweet.
The social networking in action will be displayed on large screens in each room.
The fundraiser will help the museum continue to do its hands-on programs and exhibits.
Tickets are $70 each and $750 per table, and they are on sale now!
