The Band Together NC benefit this year raised more than half a million dollars for Urban Ministries of Wake County.
This year's main event was held Saturday night at Koka Booth Amphitheatre with headliners the B-52s. The evening also included circus performers and local bands Big Something and Southern Culture on the Skids. More than 4,000 people turned out to watch the show.
A check was presented to Urban Ministries at the end of the night for $552,000!
Out & About had a great time meeting everyone at the WRAL.com tent, and congrats to everyone who took a spin on our prize wheel.
Check out our photos from the concert and then the pics we shot in our photo tent of fans getting ready for the show. We discovered several potential rock stars!
