It is that time again - First Friday in downtown Raleigh!

You can see our complete guide to First Friday here, but I wanted to highlight our Best Bet: The PBaRt show and block party.

This is the third year for the PBR-inspired art show, which is being held in the 300 block of West Martin Street.

Head to Brewmaster's Bar & Grill, The Visual Art Exchange and 311 Gallery to see some of the work. Designbox is hosting the "official" PBaRt exhibit, featuring works by Mark Elmore, Rafael Vargas, Victor Knight, Paul Friedrich and others.

Local music starts at 7 p.m. with Indie-psychedelic-pop band Oulipo. Baobab, a tribal-electro-folk band, is headlining at 9 p.m.

Between each act, check out circus talent, including aerial and fire dancers.

At 8:30 p.m., Raleigh's self-proclaimed "open source circus troupe," circusSpark, is planning a "burning man-inspired" fire performance. (Sounds hot!)

Don't forget to check out the free photo booth, as well.

If you get hungry, the Klausie's Pizza food truck will be on hand and Elemental Chocolate will offer chocolate tastings. Brewmaster's Bar & Grill will be serving food and drinks until 2 a.m.

The free party starts at 6 p.m.
