Strawberries will take center stage at the State Farmer's Market on Thursday.
The market will be celebrating National Strawberry Month this week with free samples of a strawberry dessert and recipes. Children can even get their photo taken with "Suzy the Strawberry."
And the best part of Strawberry Day is the fresh, local strawberries available for sale.
If you have a great strawberry dessert, you can enter it and maybe win $100! See the official contest rules
The celebration beings at 11 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
