'Iron Man 3' casting call Saturday in Raleigh

If you are looking to make your big screen debut, head to Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh tomorrow. There is a casting call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for "Caged Heat," the production title for the "Iron Man 3."

The "Iron Man" sequel will be filmed in Wilmington over a 10-month period starting in May.

The casting call is being handled by the same agency that did the "The Hunger Games" casting call in the state, Tona B. Dahlquist Casting.

They are seeking all ages, types and ethnic backgrounds for the project. Specifically, they mentioned these types they are looking for:

A set of identical twins (male or female) between the ages of 12-14
Artsy and/or eccentric types
computer geeks
Professor types, business professionals (men & women)
Upscale preppy types
Those with unusual hair, piercing or facial hair

All ethnic backgrounds are needed.

Bring a copy of a current snapshot to give to casting agents (these pics will not be returned) and a pen to fill out a casting form. If you can't make it this weekend, there will be another casting call in Wilmington at Independence Mall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.

If you can't make it to either casting, you can apply online. Just send a copy of a current snapshot and your information (name, age, height, weight, city and state you reside in and phone number) to cagedheatextras@gmail.com.

The "Iron Man" sequel, like the "Hunger Games" did, is using a different production title to throw people off. It is a common practice in the film industry to help keep secrets from the set just that, a secret!

"Iron Man 3" is expected to be released in theaters in 2013.
