Spring has sprung and summer is just around the corner so ditch the blacks and greys for fun and bright pastels. This spring’s must have item? Brightly-colored skinny jeans.
Before it becomes too hot to wear long pants, indulge in this year’s spring trend. Store your plain blue jeans in the attic until winter and replace them with your favorite spring color. Hot this season? Bright pink, orange, mint and royal blue – with jewel tones (like deep purple and emerald green) still remaining all the rage. Fashion designers love these color trends as of late, so there are an infinite number of colors to choose from making it easy to pick the shade and hue that looks the best on you (or take my approach and buy your favorite fit in every color!)
You can really make your skinny jeans a spring sensation by giving them some life with the right top. To really add spring flare, pair your solid color jeans with a striped or floral top. Pick tops that don’t have the same color as the jeans but still complement each other - such as pairing coral jeans with a blue print top. If you are worried about the colors clashing or the outfit being too loud, go with a simple white top. (‘Tis the season after the Easter weekend!) These jeans make a statement alone so even with a plain shirt they still look great.
And as we all know, give a girl the right shoe and she can do anything! Heels, flats, sandals, boots… the great thing about this spring’s looks is you can wear them with any shoe. Dress your spring look up for work or going out, but you can also dress it down and wear it to a baseball game (Go Bulls!) or cook out. And don’t hold back - try something bold this summer and spice up your wardrobe with teal, coral, yellow, or any brightly colored skinny jeans.
