Fresh Beat Band visits Raleigh this fall

Posted April 3, 2012

Parents you have been warned: Nickelodeon's The Fresh Beat Band will perform at the Raleigh Amphitheater on Sept. 29.

Apparently, this group is very popular with the toddler crowd! I know people who even DVR it for their children. Their show this Thursday at the Durham Performing Arts Center has even sold out!

Tickets go on sale for the Raleigh show on Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation and Ticketmaster.

According to their website, the show runs about an hour and includes a short intermission.

I was disappointed the DPAC show was sold out. My 2 1/2 year old loves the Fresh Beat Band. I love that they teach about different genres of music. When my 2 older kids were younger, they watched the Wiggles. I like the FBB alot better. I can't see why anyone would dislike them.

Glad to see they'll be coming back in the fall :) I was disappointed that the one at DPAC was on a weeknight which isn't very doable for us.

I like the Fresh Beat Band. A lot less annoying than some of the othe kids shows. Their songs are pretty catchy too.

My children like this band and I stopped letting them watch. Glad they are not old enough to find out that they are coming to town, but it wouldn't matter, because I would never let them go. tierneemalinadeveaux

Inquiring minds want to know why you feel like that about them.

I'm interested as well...I've never seen anything on that show that would warrant that kind of a reaction, nor have I heard anything negative about the band members.

Well, my 2 1/2 year old loves them and we are taking her tomorrow night. We think it is great that she shows an interest in music and loves to sing and dance
